Well, they are a very small percentage of the posts at FR, report them when you see them and if you wish to admonish a poster and have a mod see your post by all means ping the mod. No prob.
I think the mods do a good job. I see more removed posts than I do racist comments. They disapear fast.
Personally, I think the “audience” is reasonable enough to work around the comments that make FR look bad and just go on. They are zapped quickly usually anyway
LOL, I don’t think we will lose them because of a few bad-apple-posts!

...stooping down to racial or personal attacks.I completely agree with you. I held conservative thinkers to a higher standard and I see I was deluding myself.
Though I have no admiration for the Obamas, it's hardly because of their skin color.
My concerns are the "changes" he is determined to bring about in our country, such as a bigger Federal gov't., a government-controlled health care system, his stimulous package, government takeover of some private industries, and his infamous words to Joe the Plumber. "When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." With that response, he acknowledged what most astute people already believed. Thanks to Joe, he (inadvertently?) admitted his intentions.
No surprise. Hillary voiced the same agenda in 2004. "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
I wish conservatives wouldn't resort to name-calling and criticisms based on race and physical appearances. I'd like us to be above all that.
