Imagine working at a company that treats every employee exactly the same, irrespective of their individual effort. No matter how hard you work or how much your co-workers slack off, you get exactly the same pay. For millions of people, America's outdated labor laws and one-size-fits-all collective-bargaining agreements make this a reality.
Maybe this is why studies show union members are less satisfied with their jobs than are nonunion workers and many Americans simply refuse to work in union shops. Indeed, just 9 percent of nonunion workers tell pollsters they would like to join a union, and private-sector union membership has declined steadily for a generation.
Why is it that a bargaining process designed to improve workers' satisfaction and happiness collectively should produce such dissatisfaction and unhappiness individually?

McClintock ping!
It may just get me to finally retire so i can get paid rather than paying a higher % to the govt.
Imagine
Losing your best employees to foreign companies who are not O’s prey.
My ex is a member of a Carpenter’s Union and was very pro-union until I pointed out...no matter how long he’d been in the field...no matter how much more experience he had.. the little greenhorn carpenter who worked with him... made as much as he did. He looked as if I’d thrown cold water in his face. He’d never thought of it that way. Sigh. I guess ignorance is bliss...
Hmmmmm......Sounds like the Teachers Union!
There are fantastic teachers out there and I wish they were paid more. The problem is, there are crappy teachers out there who should be fired who are paid the same.

That’s exactly what went on in the old Soviet Union under Communism. It’s unbelievable this is happening under our noses and the majority of the public are too dumb to see it.
I doubled my sales goal in 2 years yet the “policy” was everyone got the same increase even those who had sales decreases. We were on a fixed bonus plan so even the bonus was a fixed number regardless of sales volume.
Well the economy tanked, so they kept the 3 people who had less than 1 year's experience, lower sales and I get to post on FR.
BTTT
Come on in, the water's fine!
Tom McClintock sure knows how to do it!!!
