Did he strike a deal with Crist to get some of the vote away from Marco?

What are Smith's ties to Florida? I thought he was from New Hampshire. Does he own a timeshare week in Florida?

Is there a reason any conservative would vote for him over Marco? Or is it just an ego thing?

You must be joking. This guy is a nut... There to split the conservative vote, nothing more.

This is what happens in KS. Two conservatives run. Guess who wins the primary....the RINO.

Bob was the man who took the lead in the Senate to fight the growing sale of fetal tissues and the abortion production process involved in ‘harvesting’ the just murdered little ones.

Marc Rubio in his book 100 ideas for Florida believes in Public/private partnerships. He also has been endorsed by Jeb’s son and they are all are globalists. Rubio must be asked questions about our sovereignty. Also does he beleive in the UN agenda 21.

Yes. He’s the one. He claimed it was because Bush and Karl Rove supported John Sununu in the primary in New Hampshire in 2002.

He left the GOP in a specifically-timed blasting rant on the floor of the Senate that was able to be broadcast LIVE, not only by the 24-hour networks but the big three, I recall the smirking face of Dan Rather afterward. Then when Smith discovered he was going to lose his chairman’s seat, all seniority on his other committee assignments, then he did the BobSmithTwoStep, made some silly apology and asked back into the party, “Gee fellas, I’m sorry — let me remove my knife.”

My thoughts exactly, although Smith lives in Sarasota which isn’t exactly a conservative bastion and you’ve got to assume Crist picks up Tampa Bay area which is his home turf. I’d say it’s a thinly veiled ethnic play to split panhandle conservatives who may be less likely to vote for a guy from Miami named “Marco”. Not sure how it plays in Orlando area. Depnds on how Rubio plays his legislative connections.

Smith was a troll in NH. Had the personality of the used kleenex I just tossed.

Florida will not buy the old white guy in the blue yankee banker suit.

Somebody better tell ole Bob that it’s hot down here so he’ll have to take that thing off his head before he starts campaigning in the Sunshine State.
