WASHINGTON – Former first lady Laura Bush says she's pleased that President Barack Obama nominated a woman for the Supreme Court.
"I think she sounds like a winner and a good nominee," Bush said of Sonia Sotomayor, the federal appeals judge Obama picked.

I think a larger problem than the Bush’s is the conservatives who are being played for suckers by the MSM. Look at all the people who fell for it on this thread. They’re the ones who’ve made this non-story a story. They can’t turn around and now claim it’s a non-story.
Are you proposing that Laura Bush become the attack-dog? Are people even using their brains on this thread?

Whatever! Who cares? The Bushes were the lead-in to Obama. I think his silence reflects his complicity with Obama rather than anything else.
If Bush were appalled as he should be, he would say something. But, since he's become a coward we should expect nothing less than his "respectful silence".
This should be no surprise considering her hubby did all he could to shout all in all in free for our southern border and for that matter for anyone else too.
When people purchase your product, you could explain the critical importance Laura Bush's words, and why you oppose them. You might even get a local reporter to come out, and you could even write a letter to the editor of your local paper, or something.
Or, you could make up some flyers that read "Laura Bush must be silenced!" Be sure to have them explain why. Go to some public place and hand them out.
I took a chance on responding to you but I guess I won't be wasting my time like that again.
My point is that conservatives should choose their battles wisely. You usually agree, just not today.

I don’t believe she is a Real Republican. She probably voted Republican for her hubby and dad-in-law, but how many other Republicans did she vote for? I believe her sympathies are with the Libs.
After all, she is a Librarian. They are notoriously over-educated, intellectual liberals. Librarians even refused to support the War on Terror by refusing to name those reading anti-American or pro-Islamic or seditious books.
