Is resentment, anger, fear, or a lack of focus holding back your true potential?
Then Rev. Jesse Lee Petersons breakthrough CD Be Still and Know is the answer to what you've been seeking.
The most important step in The Seven Guaranteed Steps to Spiritual, Family, and Financial Success is to spend quiet time every morning and evening with our Creator. The world was created from stillness, and everything in life is created from this stillness.
It is critical to our spiritual, emotional, and physical health that we find this original point of creation. Everything that we are seeking is herepeace, contentment, and the answers to our daily questions about lifein other words, true success.
To order a copy of this CD Be Still and Know
He is now talking about the Sunday morning service. I go and you should really tune in if you can or come!! We talked about predestination again and do we have a choice. You can watch by going to the website and clicking on Archives.........
He started the "Jesus Project" where they fight all over the country for the right to talk about Jesus in public.
They are now talking about a UCLA student who wanted to thank Jesus in school and was forbidden. Someone notified the guest and he sent a copy all around the country including UCLA chancellor who immediately allowed her to speak of Jesus.
Hour 2: Open Lines
Hour 3: RHONDA JONES, Founder of Serenity Enterprises.
Topic: Christian Prayer / Meditation, Finding God and dealing with Stress
Good morning, oops that picture above is a little big....
Jesse is asking why do so many Christians say you can’t dance...that is a sin. He thinks that is mostly a black thing...but I can tell you there are plenty of white churches that say that. I used to have some charismatic Christians who would not let their sons, my sons friends...dance. One time in the afternoon when they were in high school they had a dance and my son went with their son...the mother went to the dance and in front of everyone grabbed them both by the scruff of the neck and dragged them out of there! LOL My son was so embarrassed.
Louise, a black woman preacher, a self-proclaimed saint is ranting.....she doesn’t dance, but she has the rant down...sigh...poor black children! (Not all not all not all!)
Jesse says alot of black people think meditation is not of God. Rhonda says that you can only get so far until you need to get quiet and listen to God to get a deeper relationship. She reminds us that Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, spending time with God.
She says that prayer is when we talk to God. Meditation is when we listen to God.
Bible says if you confess that Jesus is your lord and savior are they missing something......Rhonda says go to the scripture about the seed that falls in the hard ground, and good ground, etc. When we accept Christ in our heart, that is soft ground.
Black Conservative calling in, objects a little bit, that it is not Christian meditation. It is eastern meditation in that it causes you to look inward. Christian meditation urges you to look outward.....hmmm maybe I misunderstood what he said. Rhonda says it is not eastern meditation. Christian meditation is not about emptying the mind, but quieting the mind. Black Conserv. says to go to the bible...uh ohhhhh...I don't agree. Jesse says read the bible, put those words in your mind meditate on those words.....doesn't tell you how...
Kenneth calls in to say black religion is dumbing down blacks. Jesse says that Rhonda is talking about not using the bible, but finding the relationship with God within like the bible figures of old had, who did not have a book.
Sounds good, sorry I missed her, abigail...
Everyone has an opinion about religion, don’t they... ;)
