No wonder God didn't answer my prayers this week. He was busy screwing with a late night talker.

So sad, Conan.
As for Leno, I was hoping that they would've given Leno "Meet the Press" to keep him at NBC. That would've been ... interesting.

IMO, The Tonight Show ended with Johnny.

I hardly watched Leno, but why did he quit? Was he forced out.
To: The Wizard
I watched the first night and it was beyond bad. I have watched Conan before and I used to think he was very funny. I think when these guys hit the big time that is when the become unfunny and use forced comedy.
The Obama informercial was awful. It was interesting how the audience reacted also. Not many laughs.

This is the same bastard who on Late Night did a filthy skit on the late JP II. Our family ( and I think all Catholics for sure) should boycott his program.

Haven't watched TTS since Johnny's last stand. Saw the uberlib lineup Conan had for the virgin week and decided to keep right on not watching.
There's always a test pattern showing somewhere!

I personally always liked conan...although i haven’t seen him in years...i never noticed him to be very political...there is no need to wish him ill...whats the beef with conan?
To: The Wizard
Conan is the worst interviewer I have ever seen on a major network. He can’t stop himself from mugging and acting zany during every interview; he’s so needy and desperate for attention that he’s painful to watch. He’s a talented writer and his skits are always funny, but I still can’t watch him anymore.

About the only reason I watched NBC was for Leno and I can’t stand Conan O’Brien.

Why does anyone want Conan to fail? Seems to me he is pretty funny.

Maybe all he needs are a few tramp stamps, some scrap metal protruding from his navel, and to change his name to Megan. He’d certainly find a home at the Freep.

I like Conan... but then again, I liked Benny Hill

Conan is funny in his own way, but he was definitely the wrong choice to replace Jay Leno.
Bad move, NBC.
