Texans deserve a real conservative choice for the U.S. Senate. And that ain’t this woman or Rick Perry.

I have had little use for her since she stated that the Senate needed more women, and that she would support women - regardless of party.

Basically, it looks like the year will be 2014, when Dan Patrick runs.

At that point, for the first time in recent history, Republicans in Texas will have a chance to vote for unabashed conservative for governor. That’s how bad party is....waiting decades for a conservative to run in Texas.

The Dems don’t seem to have a problem finding liberals to run.

I will vote Perry over hutch.

There are very few women who are conservative, and Kay is not one of them.

I doubt if even Ronald Reagan meets the standard (of whatever) evidenced by the most of posters on this thread.

Please, dear. Don’t assume you can con everybody just because useful idiots are so abundant in the republican party.

Kay's lifetime ACU rating is acceptable (89+), but last year she scored a dismal 76. I don't know where she comes up with "one of the most conservative".

If we can get Congress to Repeal the 17th Amendment and reinstate Article 1, Section 3 of the US Constitution, this type thing . . . the infestation of “inside the beltway crud” . . . would be less likely to occur.

And Kay Bailey Hutchison is NOT a spokesperson for Conservative Constitution Defenders or she would already have used her ‘soft sweet voice’ to protest the failure of 0bama to produce his long form birth certificate.

When runnning for Senate the first time, Kay Bailey Hutchison told me on a call-in show that she didn’t need pro-life votes. She has been right, since I’ve never voted for her, and she has been re-elected several times.

" "My voting record is one of the most conservative in the U.S. Senate..."

IS that so?
How many "conservatives" besides you, Kay Barely, voted FOR McCain-Feingold???

And do you *really* think a "76" rating is high???

Freakin' nincompoop!
