The UN watchdog agency on nuclear activity has found that Iran has significantly stepped up its nuclear program, and also suspects Syria of secretly operating its own nuclear program. Iran has increased its output of uranium with almost 5,000 centrifuges operating, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stated in a report Friday.

According to the report obtained by the Reuters news agency, Iran has increased its enrichment of uranium, boosting its stockpile by 500 kilograms to 1,339 kilograms in the past six months.

How are Obama and other world leaders going to put an end to the Iranian and Syrian nuclear proliferation before it's too late? Why are nations like France, Russia and China still investing in Iran?

That's a silly question, you know as well as the rest of us that the UN will send a strongly worded letter and that'll learn 'em...or not.

Syria steps up its nuclear program? Further proof that Iraq’s WMD, including their nuclear technology. were smuggled to Syria prior to the Iraq War.

Obama just gave Iran the green light. He’s not going to stop anything.

Obama has no interest in stopping them. You must be kidding. This administration has just said they have a legitimate interest in electrical power from nuclear energy. He has also warned Israel against preemptive strikes. Not only has he done nothing, his foreign policy and speeches have actually encouraged them to pursue it. Now you see the results of his actions.

Huh? Obama just said it was perfectly fine to go nuclear as long as they pinky promise they won’t use it for bombs.

I just noticed: in the article they mention the Dayr Azur site, where Syria’s old reactor was. That happens to be the site where Saddam’s WMDs were unloaded (mentioned in an Iraqi document). Well, well...
