When people call a person a slut and I argue that that is judgmental, there is no straw-man to it. By a number of posts on this thread, it is apparent, that some people think they are superior and have the right to tell other people how they should behave.
It is not stoning her either.
You should mention that to the person that indicated she should have cinder blocks thrown at her.
You’re missing the core of the argument. The parable of letting he who is without sin cast the first stone did not apply to a speech, any criticism....etc etc.. The crowd was going to stone a woman to death. I would wager that not one person on this forum would stone the First Lady if given the opportunity. They are words; that’s all.
Being critical in writing is not the same as stoning a person to death; regardless of its merit or its lack of truth.
Perhaps you may remember another phrase: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Perhaps not.
