I don’t understand. For at least a decade - until a year or two ago - I kept seeing TV news reports about how US ports were overwhelmed with shipping containers from overseas. There were so many of them that people were buying them cheap to turn into houses. Now there aren’t any?

This makes no sense.

Read the article...there are an enormous supply of containers...they are located at the ports, thousands of miles away from where needed.

It is where there are and where the need is. There is no one moving them to the heartland for FREE!
