I may be in a distinct minority here, but I agree with you 100%.
The U.S. has long had a policy of keeping its embassies out of areas whose jurisdiction was under dispute . . . which was why it was located in Tel Aviv in the first place.

Moving the US Embassy is 100% in the interest of Israel and goes directly against US interests in the Middle East. It is amazing how many people on FR do not realize that Israel does things to further the cause of Israel, not out of altruism to the US.
