NORTON So much for not interfering with the automakers restructuring.
Just days after General Motors Corp. announced that it would close its parts and distribution center in Norton by the end of this year as part of its bankruptcy restructuring, U.S. Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., has convinced G.M. chief executive Fritz Henderson to keep it open for an additional six months.
The facilitys roughly 80 workers were told on Monday that the plant would close by the end of this year. That led the facilitys United Auto Workers union rep, Mark Ridenour, to ask Frank, whose district includes Norton, to intervene on the workers behalf.

Oh no she didn’t!
Well isn’t that special. I doubt Oakland County, MI — Ground Zero for the most plant closings — will get such a deal.
Frank met with Henderson who became G.M.s CEO after President Barack Obama ordered the firing of his predecessor, Rick Wagoner and asked him to delay the plants closing. Henderson agreed to keep it open through July 2010.Hmmm. Does this foray into the business world open up the gubermint to RICO?Frank is chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, which has jurisdiction over the Troubled Asset Relief Program, the $700 billion bailout fund that the administration is using to finance its share of G.M.s restructuring costs.
He just picked up the phone and told the Business Czar not to close that dealership.....there are now nearly 20 Obama Czars in place...called Czars because it eliminates a Senate conformation of the person.
Bwaney Fwank, you suck.
I don’t know this for sure, but I would almost bet that the plants that are “allowed” to remain open are those who’s leaders contributed contributed heavily to the dims through the years.
Gubment Motors is a cluster^%$#.
The Senate’s power is no more. A dictatorship is in the making and they sit on their hands. Wonderful!
The bolsheviks just set up a `Pay Czar’. Next: a `Personnel
Czar’, someone to oversee all the commissars—I mean czars.
Indiana has called them on all this extralegal, fancy footwork:

They will close productive plants in politically weak districts, (Republican) and keep poorly run and money losing plants in operation because it happens to be in an influential Democrat's district.
This is a real mess we have going here and only just the beginning.
Has anyone noticed that he had all his front teeth pulled?
Not because he doesn’t have dental benefits either......(Yuk!)
Please don't insult Elmer Fudd. He is clearly a Second Amendment supporter.
