It’s a long jump from the probability that a staffer screwed up to some of the assumptions made here.
While I honestly put nothing past this guy and his minions- there’s likely a logical reason why this happened- as in- dumb staff.
It might be as good as the Egyptians could do. While I realize he was speaking in Cairo, I do not believe the Egyptians have a rule as to which flag should be on which side, so the question would be: Why did 0bummer allow the American flags to be on the left? That placement indicates distress.

For the second ( or third) speech of the century there is no way the complete Presidential seal was left behind.
If barry had the displayed official seal which states President of the United States how could he be King of the world?

Either way, the Seal shouldn’t be interchangable on a whim. Isn’t there like a Presidential Seal committee or something like that? Shouldn’t we get a vote before somebody goes clubbin’ the original Seal without asking? I’m just sayin’!

Right... Like “The United States of America”? That’s what Obama is trying to live down; The scourge of the USA. His contention is that the entire Muslim world hates America and it’s his job as Premier Messiah to see to it that he changes that image. Thing is, as long as we hold true to our principles they do hate us... let them hate us.

Actually, that was something I was thinking of on the ride home from work today. Did barry ever quote the Bible? I'm going to have to search cause it's driving me nuts!
For what its worth, the words “SEAL OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES” are not part of the official seal. The seal ends with the circle of stars. It is most often SEEN with the words, but they are not an official part of it. Evidence of this follows, and you can search the internet for pictures to prove it to yourself if you need to.

The wikipedia page is great because it lists the uses in which the seal is usually encircled with the words and not encircled with the words. Traditionally, its use on a lectern IS encircled, but I do find it hard to believe that Obama would have much to do with the seal used on a lectern; its most likely a decision by one of the “hip” people on his graphics design/image team, trying to make him look cooler and streamline the presidential image.
Anyway, the words are NOT always used and NOT required. For example, they are not used:
• on White House documents (easily confirmed by searching Google for people’s scanned images of White House letters they’ve received… sure enough, the seal does not have the word)
• at the center of the iconic oval rug in the Oval Office of the White House (photos on the net)
• at the center of the ceiling in the Oval Office of the White House (search net for pictures)
• on the Presidential Standard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Standard_Of_The_President_Of_The_Unites_States_Of_America.svg)
