Anthony Morrison, one of four people charged with murder in the death of Antwun "Speedy" Parker, 16, is in the Oklahoma County jail after his capture Wednesday in Wewoka, authorities said.
Morrison, 43, is accused of orchestrating a robbery attempt May 19 at Reliable Discount Pharmacy in south Oklahoma City. During the robbery Parker was shot and killed by pharmacist Jerome Ersland, 57.
Ersland, Emanuel Mitchell, 31, and Jevontia Ingram, 14, all face first-degree murder charges.

Mr. Ersland deserves a freakin’ medal, and not to be charged with ANYTHING.

Anthony Morrison is the one who should swing for the robberies and deaths. He is more guilty than the kids he sent to do the dirty work, and if the Ersland acted excessively it’s Morrison who is ulimately responsible.

Excluding Erslan (the pharmacist) I hope. I agree, in a perfect world all three of the crooks would swing. That said, it's a filthy shame the guy who defended his life and property is up on 1st degree murder charges while the gang boss who organized the robbery is on lesser charges.
If the boss ordered the two teenaged thugs to kill the man, any prosecutor worth his salt would charge him with conspiracy to commit murder.

Speedy has come to a complete stop. Those work accidents can do that to you.

The mastermind of the robbery should be held responsible for all of this, not the handicapped citizen who defended himself and two coworkers from being shot by him and his cronies. Give me a break.

This is Oklahoma. About 25 years ago a young man committed two murders not far from here in OK. Found guilty he was sencenced to death. When his time came the state completely forgot about him and missed his execution date. When they remembered they decided then to give him life in Big Mac.

Yes, free Mr. Ersland. He was protecting his life and property.
