It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

Truth from Pravda - of all places!!!!

After all, the American MSM isn't known for being truth telling with unbiased reporting with regard to political preference.

What else is to be expected?

I grew up accustomed to Pravda taunting us. The difference is that now...they are right.

We’re too accustomed to assuming truth from politically correct sources.—wrong!

I don’t give a big rat’s @$$ who/what/where truth comes from—I know it when I hear it—and that’s “I” hear it—I take responsibility to determine truth for myself—look where doing otherwise has gotten us.

PRAVDA: "Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights."

OK, when the russian press is seeing it more clearly than our own press, you know we're in trouble.

Truth? I don’t think it is necessarily the truth, but more of a cynical criticism that has some ring of truth, at least as far as Obama is concerned.

I truly do not believe that people realized what they were voting for because they generally don’t pay attention to politics until they can’t ignore it anymore. When trillions of dollars evaporates from the economy, it generally means they can’t ignore it and it happened on Bush’s watch. It doesn’t matter whether or not he or republicans ultimately are to blame because people don’t get into the specifics. They were at the helm, therefore they are garbage.

As degraded as our constitutional republic has become over the years, I am not ready to conceed defeat to Obama’s malintent. We have other options we can use to bring the government into check if it becomes something that is so offensive it cannot be ignored.

Some people, like me, are already offended. For those who ignore politics and government until it does something to them, it will take a little longer. Obama does not stand for American values and wants to do things that we have repeatedly rejected for that very reason.

The founders intended for the people to let the government know when it steps out of bounds through protest. The tea parties are a great start down that road and I think they have had some affect. It may not be the kind we are looking for yet, but they may have very well slowed the Democrats down.

Other things that can be done are to try to get Obama on something and kick him out of office or at the very least make him so politically weak he can’t get anything done.

We are one state away from calling a constitutional convention where states can amend the contitution to take power away from the Federal government, or at least clarify the meaning of the commerce, supremacy, and necessary and proper clauses among other things.

We are a very long way from losing who we are and having nothing but tyranny to leave behind for the next generation. I’ve been doing everything I possibly can to try to make a difference and I hope that everyone else will do the same. The only way we will lose everything we are is if we do nothing and just let it happen.

Oooooooo....A Tea Party. I'm sure that will scare them. The truth of the matter is, until they bring their guns and are ready to use them, nothing will change.

I posted this on an earlier thread, it explains that what we are seeing on the web recently is not the Print version of Pravda (mouthpiece of the Communist Party), but a totally different Pravda from the web.

Hear is a partial response to an e-mail from the author of a similar article. The “Pravda” that the article originated from is not the one the is the Commie Party mouthpiece.

“This is not the same Pravda you are thinking of. Pravda.ru was started in 1999, I believe, and is a semi-nationalist paper. Pravda the printed news paper is the communist mouth piece. Also in most Russian news stands each party has their own political paper, so there are dozen major papers to choose from.”

This helped me understand the striking change in articles, it is literally not the same “Pravda”.
