Maybe they should close the road that it occurred on, too.
No such thing as too much respect.

I can see being outraged that the Canadian police did nothing while the maniac was inside the bus defiling the body of their son, but I’m not sure I understand the issue here

does she want them to shut Greyhound down?? If Li had been having a burger at the time would she want all of the fast food places closed down too?

There is NO justice.

As long as the head is not rolling around the floor of the bus on mountain roads, I see no problem.

Give me a break. With all due respect to the victim’s family, do they really expect all places where violent crimes are committed to be taken out of commission, no longer used, left unoccupied, torn down, etc.? They did move the bus to a different province and gave it a different number. That should be enough.

The BUS didn’t do anything.
This is as silly/stupid/ridiculous as Virginia Tech converting a classrooom building into a “peace” museum.

Good thing the military doesn’t do this with our equipment in which men were killed, we’d never have a medevac helo in the air.
While I feel for the family’s loss, this is stupid. Why should they take the bus off the road unless the guys blood was so contaminated as to make the bus a biohazard?

While I can see how that would haunt this mother, to expect Greyhound to trash a $250,000 bus out of “respect” is a bit much. Maybe she could start a fundraiser and buy the bus to have as a memorial or sell for a good cause.

What are they offering to buy the bus? Oh, nothing? Well then.....

If she can pick it out from a lot full of buses by physical characteristics alone i.e. no number or bus name visible, then maybe they can consider it. Otherwise, life’s tough.

Ms. DeDelley, sorry about your loss. But if it bothers you so much, I’m sure Greyhound would be glad to sell you the bus for a fair price. For an additional fee, they would be glad to demolish it. So if you and your friends care so much, start raising funds. Otherwise, don’t drive up everyone else’s bus ticket prices because of your personal issues.

Maybe they should have reupholstered it in Red as a kind of
memorial? Put plastic flowers on it?
Paint it black with “Death Bus” in white letters?
Goth riders to get special discount?

Li was found not criminally responsible...A judge ruled in March that Li suffered from untreated schizophrenia and did not realize that killing the 22-year-old carnival worker was wrong. The review board responsible for Li's fate ruled this week that the Chinese immigrant will remain institutionalized for at least another year. Unbelievable!

Okay, we can scrap out the bus for you.
What? You don’t want to pay for the bus, you want our company to just throw it away out of pocket to make you feel better?
I’m sorry, these nice gentlemen will escort you to the door now...
I wonder what they would have asked for if someone threw him off the golden state bridge?
