My parents have been amazingly good to me, so I would feel obligated to care for them, if they need it.

However, what do you say to the woman whose father raped her throughout her childhoold and then runs up kinds of bills before he dies?

What about the man who never or barely knew his father and never received a dime of support from him (a very common situation these days)? Should he be forced to pay for his drunkard father’s liver transplant, after he hadn’t seen him for 30 years?
