Obama appoints czar for Great Lakes clean up

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — President Barack Obama has appointed a Great Lakes czar to oversee the administration's initiative to restore the Lakes' environment.

Cameron Davis, president of the Chicago-based environmentalist group Alliance for the Great Lakes, will head the effort. The alliance announced the appointment Wednesday.

The restoration program is expected to cost more than $20 billion.

They need to stock Red ear sunfish ( In Florida they call them shell-crackers), they will eat the zebra mussels!

I'm sure you know that red ears are just a large version of bluegill. They would eat the mussels without harming any of the other fish or their habitat.

I’ve had the dis-pleasure of dealing with these eco-fascist Great Lakes zombies. They’re stupid, greedy, genetically incontenent and couldn’t find the shithouse door without a seeing eye dog and a battery of searchlights pointing out the crescent.

Most are EPA rejects who couldn’t get a soft chair job in DC, and they were pointed to the Great Lakes to direct the liberal bed-wetting welfare serfs who live in shacks in the bush along the lakes.
