This story was poorly researched. What gave them the right to check his buddie's car? Is he on parole? If so, he wasn't supposed to be hanging out with his parole buddy in the first place. If he wasn't on parole, did he actually give them permission to search his car? Was he that dumb?

This story brings up more questions than it answers. Oh and to the Philly police chief that wants to ban semi auto weapons, guess what? This parolee is not supposed to have firearms in the first place. He was already breaking the law dope.

The news report just says 100 rounds of ammo, nothing about a drum. It could have been 3 or 4 regular magazines, or just a couple of boxes of ammo.

Drums for an AR would be the utmost in coolness. I have a few ARs, but they seize up after about 80 rounds, so a 100-round drum would be a moot point.
