“youre supposed to openly carry you sidearm”
So busy foaming at the mouth that they forgot to proofread their tripe.
Sounds like my kind of church!
praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!
I just sent a link of this story to our pastor. :)
This isn’t the kind of churck I’d be interested in. Call me old fashioned, but I expect to find a place of calmness, love thy neighbor, and non-violence in a place of worship (which would also be filled with children and babies).
Guns don’t promote that sort of environment. If a person has a permit to carry, then carry it out of sight. But standing at the front in a line, exhibiting weapons of violence in a holy place? Nope. I wouldn’t be goin’ there to hear sermons about love, serving God, promoting a wholesome family life, etc.
Our church sponsors concealed carry safety classes.
Finally, a Protestant church with brains.

The writer seems to think packing weapons to church is a bad thing. I would strongly disagree. ANYONE packing a firearm ANYWHERE is not only exercising a basic human RIGHT, but is also contributing to the safety of his or her community and boldly declaring his or her intent of doing just that. However, my personal policy is that for those who so vigorously dislike firearms, not only will I not argue with you, but I will respect your decision and not ever come to your rescue should someone realize how helpless youve made yourself and decide to cause you harm. Fair enough?
Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God
Samuel 17:47
And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
Isaiah 8:13
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
Luke 12:5-6
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Too bad the nitwits who wrote this article have no idea it’s perfectly legal and guaranteed by the Constitution to carry openly in KY.
Cripes, I used to keep a shotgun in my high school locker and would go hunting after school. Wasn’t a big deal at all.
