Apparently the man was under the delusional that the 2nd amendment applies on college campuses.
I can’t speak for public institutions, but would private institutions be well within their rights to have a “check your weapon at the door” policy?
I wouldn’t feel my rights were violated on private property and even certain public places (aircraft, jails, places where alcohol is consumed and behavior is typically bad, etc.)
