There is an article at Pajamas Media about this comparison. Not sure how appropriate it is since Brown had a long history as an abolishionist and we know next to nothing about this nut.
Brown also was attempting to steal weapons and give to slaves when he was caught and hung. This guy just walked into a church and shot a doctor in the head. I think we should drop the comparison.

He will probably be in trouble for what he was saying, but lives may be saved if Tiller is not replaced with someone as active or more than one. Not many people do the late term abortions and not just because they could be shot either.

John Brown ended up with a rope around his neck....

The comparison still has a bit of truth to it. Antebellum slaveowners obsessed about the man and in their mind painted the murderous John Brown as the typical anti-slaver; and modern abortionists certainly are proving themselves to be equally disingenuous.

It’s a legitimate comparison. John Brown was indeed an extremist, and possibly insane, but he shined a light on the slavery issue, showing to those who thought the two sides could somehow compromise, that indeed compromise was not possible.

John Wilkes Booth asked and was granted permission to watch the hanging when they executed John Brown.

I know Robert E. Lee led the force sent to get him. I believe J.E.B. Stuart led the assault on the engine house where Brown was holed up.

For 10 more points, what branch of service constituted the force led by Army Colonel Robert E. Lee?

This evil abortionist was more like John Brown than was the shooter. Brown was a fanatical murderer and wanted to kill beaucoup more people as did the abortionist.
The difference was that then, the govt. rightly strung up Brown, while today it legalizes abortion and a major portion of the population idolizes it’s practitioners including the “President” of the U.S.

A detachment of U.S. Marines actually carried out the assault but I can’t remember if other forces were involved.

Brown killed innocents.
Tiller was guilty as sin of killing 60,000 babies
and abortion as an evil is exponentially worse than US slavery ever was....the intention of US slavery was to limit freedom in exchange for labor/servitude
abortion is only about killing...and killing the least defenseless and most precious...a slaveowner or overseer could be prosecuted and imprisoned for killing a slave
don’t know a thing about the guy who shot Tiller supposedly but we know enough about Brown to know he was a bit tightly wound and wished to die as a martyr
