The disciplined, non-violent arguments of pro-life people were winning the battle for the minds of Americans. A recent poll showed that, for the first time in recent history, most Americans opposed abortion on demand. The rash act of a demented man who killed Tiller has provided a free propaganda gift to the enemy, who is going to use this to suppress everyone who opposes them.

Our Christian forefathers in the Roman Empire faced incredible evil and did not strike back in violence. The same is true of the incredibly brave Christians who labor in Communist and Muslim countries today. Vengeance is the Lord's, not ours.
