"He enthusiastically extolled the value of the ultrasound in performing abortions, and invited me to visit his clinic in Wichita." Tiller was a repulsive monster.

THE GRUESOME TRUTH OF THE ABORTION HOLOCAUST & THE DEATH OF DR. TILLER [Warning: A graphic photo of death & dismemberment]
It is the grimmest of ironies that one of the most savage, barbaric acts of evil in history began in one of the most modernized societies of its time, where so many markers of human progress became tools of human depravity: science that can heal, used to kill; education that can enlighten, used to rationalize away basic moral impulses; the bureaucracy that sustains modern life, used as the machinery of mass death, a ruthless, chillingly efficient system where many were responsible for the killing, but few got actual blood on their hands.Barack Obama April 24, 2009, Holocaust Remebernce Day, Chicago Sun Times.

Tiller deserved the chance to turn away from the evil of abortion He had plenty. He was "taken" because there was no possibility that he would repent.

The irony of Zero’s words in that quote is chilling.

Tiller deserved the chance to turn away from the evil of abortion. I cannot condone the taking of his life. I agree with this statement. Remember that it was an early pioneer--also someone once considered to be a monster--Bernard Nathanson, who was himself responsible for 75,000 abortions, who saw the light and repented his ways, becoming a strong pro-life advocate. Many abortionists have also found Christ and come to the other side. Violence is not the way. Truth is.

A repulsive monster who had a lifetime of opportunities to turn from the evil that he did. He chose not to, wouldn’t want to be him right about now.

Joe Scheidler, the founder of Pro-Life Action League and longtime pro-life activist, today issued a statement denouncing the slaying of Kansas late-term abortionist George Tiller. Tiller was shot dead Sunday morning as he was serving as an usher at his church....We deplore the killing of George Tiller on Sunday morning," said Scheidler. "It has always been my philosophy that we convert abortionists. As activists committed to saving lives, we vigorously oppose violence." Joe Scheidler PING!

Violence is not the way. Truth is. All this violence did was to strengthen the hand of the abortionists.

I read recently of a militia group who resisted government agents when they came to confiscate certain high powered weaponry that this militia had hidden on their premises.
In the insuing fight, several government agents were killed and wounded.
Also, several of the militia were killed.
Would you consider those militia, defending their belief in the right to keep and bear arms, murdering monsters?
