You’re right.
I noticed George Bush’s name on all the yard signs in Minnesota, and sure enough, it was George showed up to debate.
Norm really should have had a more active presence, shouldn’t he?

Bush took more than just Coleman down with him, if you'd bothered to read the results of the 2008 election because Obama's coattails were no where near as big as the media claimed ... if you really believe it was all Coleman and McCain who caused the loss, then how do you explain that the McCain/Palin ticket was ahead in the polls until the October "cry-sis" that Bush announced, the stock market meltdown, and the bailouts that followed? Adding to it, of course, was Bush's record unpopularity equaled only by Hoover and Truman.

Lets be frank here
Dole lost North Carolina! The GOP got throttled in the last election and that sank allot of good senators here is why Coleman lost
(1) Zero-Mania: The 0ne took Minnesota by 10 points and Coleman ‘lost’ by only a few hundred many of which where ahem ‘found votes’.
(2) The Timing of the collapse: a month before election this hurt anyone remotely attached to Bush who was wrongfully singled out by the media
