Victories give Conservatives reason to hope!

The following was written by Our Country Deserves Better Vice Chairman, Mark Williams. You can read more of Marks thoughts and words at his blog: http://www.marktalk.com/blog/

Conservatives have good reason to remain optimistic and hopeful with a number of positive developments in recent days showing a renaissance underway on the Right.
Following the drubbing we received in the 2008 elections (losing not just the White House to Barack Obama, but seeing Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid expand their majorities in Congress) things werent looking so great there were many words written and said by conservative pundits decrying the sad state of affairs for right-thinking Americans. Some conservative pundits and leaders even jumped ship, preferring to seek out greener pastures on the other side of the fence. For the weak-willed ideological prostitutes who wanted to be loved rather than to fight for what they actually believed to be in Americas best interest their motivations seemed to be based on a sense that: The Other Mans Grass is Always Greener. But of course, the point is thats an allusion. The grass really isnt greener on the other side, and Arlen Specter soon found that out for himself when he joined the Democrat Party only to discover that what looked to be fields of green on the ranch of Senate Democrats, were really nothing more than a wasteland of tumbleweeds being blown around by the harsh winds of political reality.
For those conservatives who stayed loyal to the cause, there are a number of promising developments that can fuel the soul and reinvigorate the heart to fight on against the liberals currently entrenched in our government.
In California, voters in this bluest-of-blues state last week overwhelmingly rejected liberal budgetary propositions that sought to extend tax increases to pay for the out-of-control spending by the Democratic legislature and a pair of fiscally irresponsible governor, RINO (Republican In Name Only) Arnold Schwarzenegger and before him the famously Recalled Gray Davis.
In Pennsylvania (where Sen. Specter is left to scratch his head wondering where all that green grass that looked so enticing went to) a new poll finds that conservative Republican challenger, Pat Toomey, is fastly gaining ground on Specter. And conservative groups will be strongly backing Toomey, providing him the financial and grass roots support hell need to keep gaining ground.
In Nevada, my organization has launched a full-scale campaign to Defeat Harry Reid and took on Reid and his friend Barack Obama when Obama came to Las Vegas last week to try and raise millions of dollars for Reids faltering campaign. Polls show Reid is losing ground too and is in much worse shape than Arlen Specter. We were all over the news reports in Nevada and Harry Reid and Barack Obama have been put on notice that their liberal big-government, tax-hiking policies of bailouts and growth in government are going to be rejected in Nevada, and it wont just be those liberal/socialistic policies going down to defeat, well be taking the Senate Majority Leader down with them. One conservative Republican challenger, former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle, is already preparing a campaign to take Reids Senate seat in the upcoming Nov. 2010 elections.

Mark Williams is a Free Lance Talk Radio Host who had a very popular Conservative Talk Radio show in Sacramento, California a few years ago.
He is one of the ones that the Media shut down because of the interest of conservative citizens in the area.
Now he writes (Mark Talk) and fills in for national and local conservative radio hosts and is a Vice Chairman of Our Country Deserves Better PAC and will be one of the speakers going on the Tea Party Express Tour in late August in a whirlwind tour/convoy across country to expose leftist/liberal political candidates and support any conservatives running against the democrats.
The Tour/Convoy will culminate in Washington, DC with the 1st ANNUAL FREE REPUBLIC NATIONAL TEA PARTY CONVENTION on Sept 12 and the giant Tea Party Rally the same day.

In upstate NY, a progressive investment banker from Missouri won CD#20. (Murphy, 100% pro-NARAL)
In east L.A., a socialist Chinese woman won the Hispanic CD#32. (Chu, 100% pro-NARAL)
NARAL is winning seats where they should struggle. So we could say, “Victories give NARAL reason to hope!” If conservatives want to celebrate victories, try getting some first.

“The grass really isn't greener on the other side, and Arlen Specter soon found that out for himself when he joined the Democratic Party”...
No, but the grass is always greener around the outhouse and that was enticing enough for Specter.

apparently, the conservative establishment is focused on “the big picture” and “creating a new conservative trend”. Actually competing in elections that are “here and now” must qualify as “small potatoes”.
The DEMS spend more time talking about taking on Chu #32 than the conservatives.
“For Judy Chu to stay in Congress, she is going to need the continued support and allegiance of a large percentage of hispanic voters as well as the monolithic asian support she evidently had in the special primary. I cannot imagine she will go unchallenged by Latino Democrats...or the Republican Party...unlike Hilda Solis”

Man, I hate to be such a downer, but what hope is there when the libs have total control of the news media, entertainment and “education”... the three main propaganda arms and opiates of the masses of asses?
In a word... none.

Yes, I have been saying since about Sept of last year that all future elections will be decided by voter fraud and illegal insurgent criminal invader colonists’ votes.
UNLESS the republicans start fighting against it and with backbone.
It looks pretty bleak, but Our Country PAC and Free Republic are fighting the good fight.

not my website, commentary on Chu’s election. That even the DEMS can see she is a bad fit for that district.

Yes, my FRiend. But don’t forget hundreds of millions in illegal foreign money and Soros bought influence.

the Hispanic voters of East L.A. sure are DEMS, but they have absolutely no interest in a Chinese woman from the suburbs who is a total pro-abort secularist NEA pro-gay Feminist. A complete wrong fit on culture and values.

Harry's Situation
A national conservative group this week launched what it said will be a "six-figure" campaign to prevent Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada from winning a fifth term in 2010.
The Our Country Deserves Better political action committee said it is planning a television, radio, and Internet "advertising blitz" throughout the state to tell voters that the Democratic incumbent "has stiffed taxpayers with huge government bailouts and wasteful pork-barrel" spending. "Harry Reid is stealing from you to give to the massive social-welfare machines in California, New York, Massachusetts, and other places," Vice Chairman Mark Williams said at a news conference in Reno.
Reid defended his record while visiting his home state this week, saying that he has secured funding for veterans benefits and prevented the closure of two of Nevada's military bases. His spokesman, Jon Summers, described the new PAC as "an out-of-state group that doesn't really know a whole lot about what's happening here in Nevada and about the good things Senator Reid has done for the state."
Among those attending the anti-Reid news conference was Republican Sharron Angle, a former state assemblywoman and past congressional candidate who is exploring the idea of challenging Reid. "I am increasingly encouraged by the support I've been seeing," Angle said. "There's just a lot of hopeful and wishful thinking here. And I am not going to discourage that." (Reno Gazette-Journal,5/25)
Reid, who received a fundraising visit from President Obama this week, vowed in a recent interview to raise $25 million for his campaign, an amount that would be a record for a Senate candidate in Nevada. Aides said that sum, which Republicans did not dispute, is intended to scare off any Republican thinking of taking him on. "I don't know what effect it will have on anybody," Reid said, "but that's what I'm planning to do." (New York Times,5/26)
