It is. I have no use for royalty but she is always welcome in this former colony.
Maybe she can give him a Zune.
We resolved that one a long time ago. In by book they're always welcome.
I just hope our Dear Leader has recently acquired the appropriate social graces.
Or not. He (hopefully) won't be Dear Leader forever.
She pissed off Obama just because his grandfather was put down by the British during the Mau Mau uprising!

As the only current head of state who wore the uniform in WWII, her exclusion is shameful. These prissy fops have nothing in common with the soldiers who stormed the Normandy beaches.
LOL!!
Let's not go overboard for a Monarchist, she doesn't have anything in common with those men either, she was a Princess and treated as such during the war.
At least those men were elected into their positions and they will step down when the time comes.
They ought to invite Bambi’s Uncle Charlie, too.
Bambi is visiting the concentration camp liberated by Uncle Charlie’s wartime unit, but curiously didn’t invite Uncle Charlie to go with him.
Maybe he just doesn’t LIKE old white people.
The Queen of England had the Star Spangled banner played during the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace right after 09/11.
I will never forget that gesture, and the symbolism of standing unified with the United States in times of open aggression.
She can count me a friend any day, and if our leadership wants to snub her, that just reflects very poorly on them, not her.
She’s got more class in one eyelash than Obama has in total.
But not the nice one - the smaller cheaper one...
It takes a few generations and he is new money as they say.
Ansel, she holds a legitimate position within Great Britain’s leadership. She deserves respect, and her being part of their leadership for so long, she should be shown respect by our leadership.
Why should we overlook her, during such an important remembrance?
I agree and have said before that Obama’s bizarre actions regarding Britain are an embarrassment to America, but I don’t want to see people going on about her phony military service like they have for the last couple of weeks.
I also can’t forget who and what she is, she carries it well but never forget the Monarchy and what they want for us all and what they believe about humanity.
Gordon Brown, the un-elected PM of England... for one.
The Queen is Royal as always. Her husband, on the other hand, will not bear this slight to his beloved wife. Prince Phillip--he's an Navy guy, I wouldn't turn my back on him.
Ansel, heads of state or royalty seldom spend time in the line of fire. They still help the populace rally around the flag and contribute to the war effort. That doesn’t bother me. It’s just a fact of life.
The Monarchy today is mainly a figurehead position. It is a throwback to English tradition. I don’t have a problem with it. She’s not trying to wrestle power from the legitimate government.
She and her sons support charities and go on junkets for the government, much like the D-Day celebration. I just don’t see this as threatening in the least.
I do appreciate your alternative view on it.
