I also hate to see younger people making snide remarks about them....it's worse! And I've seen a lot right here!...from people who obviously were not taught to respect their elders.
I knew this was coming when I read or heard (don't remember which, I'm old) the original interview. I said to myself, oh shit, here comes the Nancy Reagan sees ghosts, Nancy talks to Ronnie, Nancy.......yada, yada, yada. This is the second thread regarding such interview and both of them have been seriously taken out of context in an effort to make Nancy Reagan appear to be a mindless loon...........disgusting!
I didn’t intend my remark to be snide, I intended it to be logical. It is not uncommon for people in their upper 80’s to be senile in some degree, and either Nancy doesn’t know or care that she is simply being used by Obama to burnish his image.
He could give a rat’s ass about who she is or what her Husband stood for.
