Montgomery, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama's Ten Commandments judge is running for governor again.
Roy Moore's campaign Web site went up Monday morning, inviting supporters to sign a pledge to help elect Moore governor.

IIRC, there was something quirky about him but I like his stand on the 10 Commandments.
What? That he used the power and force of his public office to make a religious statement? At best it shows he's impolite.
He should be on SCOTUS. I’m not sure Governor is suited to him.
Huh? I approve of his stand.
I guess the poetry thingy didn’t work out
Judge Roy Moore rocks.
As an Alabamian, I can assure you that Roy Moore is an opportunist and an idiot who could care less about his religious convictions and more about advancing his political agenda.
yeah, forcing your religion on people is a sure way to win people over to the conservative side.
The idiom is: "he could NOT care less", which means "he doesn't care at all."
I've yet to see anything disingenuous stated by Roy Moore. Can you supply some evidence which puts a lie to his religious convictions? Taking a stand which might get one tossed of his State's Supreme Court is NOT a career advancing proposition.
Americans have forgotten their religious heritage and worldview needed to preserve freedom.
I never said he lied about his religious convictions. I merely stated that he used the commandment issue to further his political career. And getting thrown out of the of the Supreme Court did encourage him to run for Governor in the last election, an election he couldn't win. Doing this again this election will only cause the Republican candidates to have a runoff election (as he caused in the last election)forcing the real candidates to have to spend more money against themselves rather than use it against who ever the Democrat party candidate will be.
The majority of the people who supported him on the steps of the Alabama Supreme Court weren't even from Alabama. This man does nothing more than give Alabama Republicans a bad name.
I agree that we have forgotten our religious heritage, but running in an election that you can't win and that might hurt the only conservative candidates chances of winning isn't the right thing to do.
Exactly. And I wouldn't dismiss this subject so cavalierly. Leaving out the NOT produces an entirely different effect: semantics. Care should be taken. :)
This man does nothing more than give Alabama Republicans a bad name.
How? Here's a second chance for you to articulate concrete deficiencies. Saying that Moore costs other conservative candidates valuable campaign dollars that could be better used during the general election does not "give Alabama Republicans a bad name." What precisely did he do does?
