That won’t work. They’ll blame the Bush administration. :)
Thank you for the ping.

What he actually said was "... fifty ... [slight hesitation] seven states? I think, one left to go. Uh, one left to go -- Alaska and Hawaii I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to because -- but my staff, uh, would not justify it."
It pains me to say it, but I'm afraid on this one he gets the benefit of the doubt. Assuming he meant to say "forty," we get 47 plus one ("left to go") plus two (Alaska and Hawaii, "not allowed to go to"), for a total of 50.
Nevertheless: this usurper of the Presidency should be arrested, tried, and punished for any number of offenses, from falsification of documents up to and including treason.

"He couldn't have gotten it from me since we had never talked about this particular episode in the war," he said. "My sister and her husband were both great storytellers and sometimes made up the details to go along with it. They told him about my deployment with the 89th Infantry Division and apparently they mixed up a few details."
Mr Obama soon called Mr Payne to check the details of his war experience, he said. "He wanted to know where this camp was that I had helped liberate. I told him that it was Ohrdruf and that it was a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp. I described a little bit of what I had seen," he said.
Raised in Kansas, Mr Payne was the brother of Mr Obama's late grandmother Madelyn Dunham, and joined the army as soon as he had finished school. He was among the first US soldiers to discover the horrors of the Holocaust first hand.
“So, Obomba is a narcissistic, marxist, chronic liar. Were so lucky.”
Don’t you mean to say ANOTHER narcissistic, marxist, chronic liar? Don’t forget Slick & Her Heinous.
Obama relative recalls World War II horror
President may visit concentration camp great-uncle helped liberate
By John McCormick | Tribune reporter

For much of his 84 years, Charles Payne has lived in Chicago in relative obscurity and watched his sister’s grandson rise to the presidency.
But now it appears possible that a painful part of Payne’s own story will be brought to the forefront, based on German news reports that President Barack Obama is considering a visit to the concentration camp that his great uncle helped liberate in April 1945.

It seems you made a big mistake on this one.

Payne, 84, is no stranger to Americans: The Obama campaign used his WWII experiences last year to burnish the candidates all-American upbringing. But Obama made a gaffe when he said his great uncle liberated Auschwitz. In fact, Payne was part of the force that liberated Ohrdruf, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp, in April 1945.
I don’t understand your post #53.
What is the mistake?
I just woke up so maybe I am confused about what you posted but I thought you were claiming that his uncle served in the navy not the army.
Another Obama Whopper
In the Spiegal interview Payne states that he was in the 89th Infantry and that Obama’s gaffe was naming the wrong concentration camp, Payne was at Ohrdruf not Auschwitz.
SPIEGEL: At first Mr. Obama claimed that one of his family members was involved in the liberation Auschwitz. How did this misunderstanding come about?
Payne: He couldn’t have gotten it from me since we had never talked about this particular episode in the war. My sister and her husband were both great storytellers and sometimes made up the details to go along with it. They told him about my deployment with the 89th Infantry Division and apparently they mixed up a few details. Of course it came out immediately that he was wrong since there are enough people in America who know that Auschwitz is in the East and that the camp was liberated by the Red Army.
SPIEGEL: Afterwards, Obama called you. What did he want to know?
Payne: He wanted to know where this camp was that I had helped liberate. I told him that it was Ohrdruf and that it was a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp. I described a little bit of what I had seen.
The discrepancy is easily explained. The person who ghost wrote Dreams for the affirmative action figure didn’t have the names straight and didn’t bother to contact Obowma before sewnding the manuscript to press. Since Obowma has a fogged memory of his past due to drug useage, he just repeats what has been written for him and the Payne name means nothing to him other than to exploit it.
Well, for what it's worth, the Germans didn't keep concentration camps on the water. They were inland and away from the ocean and they had no floating camps for killing Jews. Given all that as evidence I would say the chances of a Navy liberation of any concentration camp were pretty slim.
Just in case you didn't notice I was being sarcastic. The answer is NO, the Navy didn't liberate any concentration camps during WWII.
