Another Obama Whopper
The Obama File ^ | June 1, 2009 | Beckwith

Posted on 06/01/2009 5:57:59 AM PDT by Beckwith

During the campaign, Obama told a story about his "uncle," Charles Payne's, WW II experiences to burnish his all-American upbringing.  But Obama made a gaffe when he said his great uncle liberated Auschwitz.  Well, Russian troops liberated Auschwitz, so the story changed that Payne was part of the force that liberated Ohrdruf, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp, in April 1945.

Well, this story wasn't a gaffe.  It was a lie, on top of a lie, on top of a lie.

Records show that a Payne, C. T. served as a private with Company K, 355th Infantry Regiment, 89th Infantry Division, during World War II.  The C.T. Payne listed on the roster of the 89th Infantry Division is NOT a relative of Obama.

Madelyn Dunham's brother was named Charles "W." Payne, not Charles "T." Payne.  Genealogy records show that his grandmother Madelyn only had one brother, Charles W., and a sister Arlene.  Charles W. was born to Rolla Charles Payne and Leona McCurry (nee) in 1924.

Not only that, It seems that "Uncle Charles" was in the Navy.  Payne, Charles W., enlisted in the US Navy on November 10, 1942, at Board #4, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas.  His US Navy serial number was 6293977.

There was a Charles T. Payne in the family.  He was Obama's great great grandfather.  He joined the military just after Pearl Harbor amid the fear and confusion on a "60 and over" enlistment that was meant to be defense at home.  However, he also joined the US Navy.  Payne, Charles T., enlisted on December 13, 1942, also at Board #4, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas.  His US Navy serial number was 3427439.

Charles T. Payne was born in 1861.  He would have been 81 years old, and totally unacceptable for active duty in the infantry -- he is not the C.T. Payne of the 89th.

NYT Writer Corrects Record: Pete Seeger 'Only' 40 Years Late in Denouncing Stalin
By P.J. Gladnick
2007-09-02

The New York Times has now corrected [1] a "smear" about Pete Seeger being 50 years too late in denouncing Stalin. Thanks to the intrepid research of Times reporter Daniel J. Wakin, the record has now been set straight. Pete Seeger was only about 40 years too late in criticizing Stalin.

America’s Most Successful Communist (Pete Seeger):
By Howard Husock, Summer 2005

"The Popular Front sought to enlist Western artists and intellectuals, some of them not party members but “fellow travelers,” to use art, literature, and music to insinuate the Marxist worldview into the broader culture. The murals of Diego Rivera, the poetry of Langston Hughes, the novels of Howard Fast—all exemplified this approach. It’s an irony that communists should seek to change the culture, of course, since Marxism holds that culture is merely a reflection of underlying economic structures, whose transformation will bring about capitalism’s inevitable collapse."

Springsteen's Homage to Pete Seeger
By Tom Moon

World Cafe, April 25, 2006 - On the new collection We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, Bruce Springsteen honors the folk music tradition that has inspired many of his own compositions over the years. All the tracks on the new album are standards closely associated with folk icon Pete Seeger.

Springsteen assembled large ensemble of acoustic musicians to flavor the proceedings with everything from accordion to tuba. Rock critic Tom Moon talks with host David Dye about why he reacted so strongly and positively towards this latest offering by The Boss.

I know!

Identifying a Pathological Liar

Pathological liars, or "mythomaniacs," may be suffering from histrionic personality disorder or narcissistic personality disorder. The following comments basically reflect a pathological liar who has the characteristics of histrionic personality disorder.

Some characteristics:

1. Exaggerates things that are ridiculous.

2. One-upping. Whatever you do, this person can do it better. You will never top them in their own mind, because they have a concerted need to be better than everyone else. This also applies to being right. If you try to confront an individual like this, no matter how lovingly and well-intentioned you might be - this will probably not be effective. It's threatening their fantasy of themselves, so they would rather argue with you and bring out the sharp knives than admit that there's anything wrong with them.

3. They "construct" a reality around themselves. They don't value the truth, especially if they don't see it as hurting anyone. If you call them on a lie and they are backed into a corner, they will act very defensively and say ugly things (most likely but depends on personality), but they may eventually start to act like, "Well, what's the difference? You're making a big deal out of nothing!" (again, to refocus the conversation to your wrongdoing instead of theirs).

4. Because these people don't value honesty, a lot of times they will not value loyalty. So watch what you tell them. They will not only tell others, but they will embellish to make you look worse. Their loyalty is fleeting, and because they are insecure people, they will find solace in confiding to whomever is in their favor at the moment.

5. They may be somewhat of a hypochondriac. This can come in especially useful when caught in a lie, for example, they can claim that they have been sick, or that there's some mysteriously "illness" that has them all stressed out. It's another excuse tool for their behavior.

Springsteen looks like he needs to take a dump, and Seeger is wearing a multicolored condom on his head. I’m surprised Lincoln’s statue didn’t turn red with shame.

Is anything about this guy on the level?

Nope. Here he is making a speech commenerating the civil rights march in Selma Alabama. He claims it was because of that march, his father came to this country, met his mother , and they got together. He ends it by saying. " Don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma Alabama"

Well, one little problem with that. The march happened in 1965. He was born in 1961. Unless of course he is telling the truth and he really wasn't born in 1961

Here’s a YouTube of Springsteen performing with communist icon, Pete Seeger, at Obama’s inauguration. There’s a flash of Obama singing along from his seat:

It depends on the meaning of level. Example: Obama likes to level criticism at Dick Cheney.

‘There are 57 States in America.’

‘The language of Austria is Austrian.’

Obama is far past Dan Quayle territory, but the media will be very quiet about it. A completely inverse relationship of media coverage of the two - they exaggerated Quayle’s faux pas until they couldn’t beat it anymore, and then now never mention Obama’s bonehead remarks.

We need an all time list of Obama’s bonehead statements.

If he wasn't chosen, sponsored and mentored into American politics, he would have ended up as a featured guest on a “Dysfunctional Family” Jerry Springer episode.

And this is the first we’ve heard of it. Thanks, Beckwith. Somebody has to do the media’s job for them because they sure aren’t doing it themselves. This should have been a headline no less than one week after 0bama made his first bogus statement about it.
