...There is something to be aware of, when persons that we respect, pass away, and we're left with mediocre, fevered egos, still thriving and prospering on the Earth, we will see them again, in a better place. God help us to get there, to be among the departed...

Thank you for posting this thread, saveliberty! I am so glad to be reminded that today is Tony's birthday---I will pray for his dear family again--surely they will be missing him even more today. What a loss they have experienced!
Actually, our country has experienced an incredible loss. I still miss him and think of him often. It would be such a comfort to hear his opinions on the happenings of the day and suggestions on how to keep a positive attitude and move forward!
Many blessings on his sweet family today as they remember their great husband, father, son, brother.

Hi Save.
Thank you for posting this wonderful tribute to Tony. As his birthday drew closer, I found myself getting sadder. I should be grateful to have had the time with Tony that I did, but in lieu of what has gone on since his passing, in government and in the culture, it is hard not to despair. [A trait Tony would not tolerate.]
I have stuff I have to attend to today so I'll be in and of the Thread. I do so look forward to reading the posts of old friends and SnowFlakes.
Missing all,
Foxy

Woof!
Thanks for a wonderful thread!
Tony removed the anger from his politics; it is the best way to get people to listen. He gave us a model that I strive to use. Trouble is that these neo-socialists are making it harder every day.
The “Woof” reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw yesterday:

I saved some MP 3's from his shows. One is when I called him about the Pro-Illegal immigration protests in California. He laughed out loud for some time; it is a treasured memory.
Thanks for the link to the music! There was a photoshop competition on FARK.com some years ago. Two were funny, the rest were the typical liberal hate-hate postings. Here is one of Tony running back a punt for the Cowboys. ;^)

Thanks for remembering and the ping.
Many prayers from me, too.
When I remember Tony, I remember decency, kindness, optimism, a ready and infectious laugh, and the best radio talk show host and White House Press Secretary ever.
