WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) -- President Obama released the following statement on the murder of Dr. George Tiller on Sunday.
"I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence."
I’ve never heard Obama speak about the humanity of babies. All I’ve heard him say is “women never make these decisions lightly”. It’s as though he doesn’t even recognize the existence of a human creature inside the womb. What’s up with this?
“cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.”
Sure as hell can.
Actually, at the time I wrote the post you cited, I had no idea who the suspect was. Now I know he’s an ex-con with connections to violent groups.
Doesn’t sound pro-life to me.
Don’t think that I said that!! But, all violent acts are justified, defensive acts against them including homicide.
People like Obama can look straight at an ultrasound of a baby at 25 weeks gestation and not care if he lives or dies an agonizing death. This is what we have running our country right now. God give us the mercy of a brief life.
There is a chance that he doesn’t even care about his own daughters. Perhaps he only loves power.
I agree. Even if he is nominally “pro-life,” how can he justify his actions. Makes us look bad, and plays right into Obama and Napolitano’s stereotypes of us, which they will use for propoganda purposes.
This hurts us; doesn’t help us.
No, he was a serial killer whose wife and family DID have a clue.
Moral absolutists? Are you kidding?
The murder of human beings was a very relative matter for the one who killed Tiller. If you are going to troll on this site then you might as well spend more time thinking it through. Have a fun trip back to DU.
Yeah, and dissent is patriotic, but only for one side of the political spectrum.
No, it can’t! It does however beget more violence...
Holder is adding security to abortion clinics per Fox news
Perhaps he is/was.
But like it or not, there are many in the GOP who want what he does. The religious right to be gone.
This event will be used as a vehicle for that.
This is the abomination that causes desolation. Let the reader understand.
People like Obama are selfish to the point of condoning murder and have no real heart. Evil dwells in their hearts. I do not condone the shooting of this man, but, mourn for him I will not. Maybe the so-called church that accepted this kind of behaviour from a member will wake up to the evil that sat in it’s pews. I kind of doubt it though. I do not believe that God’s spirit dwells there at all. Just because a church claims to be Christian does not mean that it really is. A true bible-believing church would not allow a person such as Tiller to join let alone be an usher. I don’t care how much good that people can say that that man did in his life, it could never make up for destroying the innocent little lives of all of those babies.
This is how we respond: The prolife community in Kansas and elsewhere provide crisis pregnancy centers and react to late term abortion by supporting perinatal hospice. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2261904/posts
(And, yes, I will spam every thread on Tiller’s death with this link. We cannot be silent about the good work done for life.)
Makes sense now.
He’s probably back over at DU whining about FR with the rest of them.
If you are ashamed of having mixed feelings, that's good, it will motivate you to find the courage to decide where you stand.
If you are ashamed of your position on abortion because of this murder, you are either a shill trying to undermine people's moral clarity by your faked-shame example, or... you're taking responsibility for an act that is not yours and which you have no right to own (unless you specifically advocated murdering abortionists), because... you are unable to see the clear difference between being: against abortion because you believe it is murder and those enacting it are murderers who will go to hell for murder but should be treated lawfully and that the laws should be changed... and... people who think abortionists should be murdered, which is entirely, completely different (but is the focus of the slanderous efforts of leftists across the country right now).
If you are a democrat shill, however, don't try to understand the distinction - you'll only hurt yourself, because democrats regularly invoke rabid hatred and calls for the murder of anyone who disagrees with anything they say, while claiming their only motive is peace.
No, unfortunately, I am feeling ashamed about feeling good about a late abortion doctor meeting his demise. I do NOT support those that would kill people over abortion.
You on the other hand seem to think that murder is okay under the right circumstances... Who makes the circumstances okay to do that? It is a problem that will never go away - if it is a personal decision (human choice), it is wrong by default. If it is what you think God would approve, it is also wrong by default (Got would never agree with killing anyone). So you are left with a major problem...
You can stop wringing your hands and wetting the bed. Studies show that justified killing leaves few scars, if any, whether done to protect one's self or others. But I find it interesting that you believe you'd have nightmares if you defended yourself, but not if you defended others. It's that kind of self-contempt that usually leads people into collectivist groups - the same kinds of groups which, historically, have led to the murder of more hundreds of millions of their own people than all the wars combined.
And THAT gives ME nightmares.
