[history]
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - Late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, a prominent advocate for abortion rights wounded by a protester more than a decade ago, was shot and killed Sunday at a church in Wichita where he was serving as an usher and his wife was in the choir, his attorney said.

This is BS. What you are saying is that we should reel in our opinions to appease PC constraints or the political goals of others. It is like the left threatening dire political consequences for opposing Sotomayor, OR saying we must grieve over the death of Tiller because he was murdered. Not so.
We owe Tiller no sympathy. He was a genuine villain.
What I posted in Post 1 and several did not apparently get is that the left, represented by Kos, had no sympathy for the contractors butchered in Fallujah while their hearts are bleeding for Tiller. If the dead is on their side of an issue they have sympathy, not otherwise. The paraphrase is spit in their direction.

Just ignore the many people around here that fantasize about being a moderator. I think we should all be on guard for noobs who might want to come here and stir up $hit to make FR look bad, especially on this particular event.
Who knows, that could be Napolitano trying to build her list, lol

I realize this is a vigilante murder and I do not condone such a thing. It is wrong. The murderer if caught should be tried and convicted if he is guilty. But,,, I do not have to cry about it. One murderer killed another murderer.

You asked about the sentencing of the murderer.

***It is an injustice and should be condemned by anyone who values the pro-life cause because it is wrong, not just because of the reaction of the culture of death forces. ***
to use the term "should be condemned by anyone" Makes it sound like your the judge of what pro-lifer are and how they should act... I neither am sorry or happy at this monsters death..completely indifferent to it...But if I had to choose an attitude between him or any of the thousands that die daily, I would call his death a benefit to the earth.

You asked about the sentencing of the murderer. When they sentence the murderer to death. When he is executed what would the score be then?

Trash taking out trash and getting caught. Not much loss in this story.
My condolences to his blood family. You can't choose your relatives.

What I see is a repeat of what happened in the years just prior to the Civil War, with the efforts to end slavery, which also had its moments of violence. This time it is the efforts to end abortion which will see violent incidents happen like this. Sadly, we are in for a repeat of history, “Alinsky principals” not withstanding.

This shooting is a great opportunity for trolls and seminar disruptors to generate posts that'll show up on O'Reilly, painting us as cheering on a nutjob with a gun. This article is the OP's second or third post since joining FR.
This shooting is a disaster for pro-life. The phone lines at Planned Parenthood are lighting up paypal donations!!

One murderer killed another murderer. In the words of an earlier Wichita resident, Wyatt Earp, you might say Tiller "needed killin'".
That's not to say his killer shouldn't be prosecuted. But it does illustrate how somebody like Tiller might be viewed.

“cheering on” It seems like the deed was done before we started discussing it.
To: Mamzelle
It's time to stop worrying about how the left or Bill O'Reilly will characterize the FR community over this. Of course O'Reilly and the left will exploit it. You can't stop that. O'Reilly can take a flying leap off a short pier as far as I'm concerned.
We should not roll over, submit, and say we're sorry. We have nothing to apologize for. We can condemn the murder of Dr. Tiller without conceding the gross immorality of the late term abortions that he carried out.
To: behzinlea
I think you should continue to characterize the murder exactly as you just did. But what I'm worried about is more than some criticism from O'Reilly.
I observed in another thread that Tiller was proving to be something of a liability to the left with all the negative publicity he was generating. Now the liability looks a lot more like a martyr.

Church is just a word...there are all kinds of churches..apparently a building where ‘butchering baby killers’ were allowed is not a church to which I would give any credence. Abortionists are not Christians....until they give up there bloody lifestyle and give their hearts to Jesus.

Do I smell a little hypocrisy?
