President Obama is reportedly playing golf at Fort Belvoir.
Your print pooler and a member of the wire pool were left behind today (although we were on time and greeted by the press office wrangler). We were waiting in the briefing room for the pool call -- and have since learned that when the lights are on, the overhead address system bypasses the briefing room. There was a lot of public tour traffic through the briefing room this morning and (you guessed it) the lights were on. The call went out, and the motorcade rolled.

We are France circa 1780.
Notice he plays only at military bases as he is afraid to be around the people.?
Getting closer to 1789 every day.
It's unbelievable, right? This guy lives higher on the hog than Trump. He jets to Manhattan for dinner and a show and then is playing golf in another city less than 12 hours later. It's good work if you can get.
I should have run for president. I am convinced it is the easiest job in the world. Ever since Clinton (and perhaps before) all presidents do is fly around and make speeched to friendly audiences (military for Republicans, colleges for Dems), schmooz with foreign leaders without accomplishing anything, campaign for their buddies on our dime, take vacations, and play golf.
I don’t want to see the president playing, dating his wife, chopping wood, working in a soup kitchen, or anything else that someone else could do. What on earth is the president supposed to be doing when they are doing all this other frivolous stuff? There has to be some kind of work attached to the position, or is it all a big con?
Nothing he likes better than smacking old whitey around
Cheney is stressing Obama out so he has to play golf! < /S >
I notice that in the same week that North Korea is exploding nuclear weapons BECAUSE of democrat policies,,
that Iran is threatening to attack Israel (again) BECAUSE of democrat policies,
That GM and Chrysler are being taken over by a new socialist government BECAUSE of democrat policies,
that gas prices are rising (again) BECAUSE of democrat policies,
when Iraq casualties and Afghan deaths are rising BECAUSE of democrat policies,
...
I do wonder if it is better that he does play golf all the time and go to New York plays with his wife and send Pelosi overseas .. Of course, Soros is still in charge
Uh, yes.
Why does anyone care that he plays golf? I recall all of the crap that Bush took for riding his bike or running.
It gives him 4 hours away from the beast woman where he can rip through a pack of Kools without catching any grief. I’d love the opportunity to critique his golf swing. I’m sure he’s absolutely terrible.
Now that BOZer0 has high stakes ownership shares of GM and Chrysler just doing what the execs and unionist bosses do.
Living the high life——”change we BETTER believe in...or else”
I’m not entirely sure I understand this. When the lights are on in the Press Room, meaning that reporters are there, then the address system bypasses it?
So it’s deliberately set up so reporters can’t hear what’s going on in the White House?
Maybe there’s a more innocent explanation—like, Obama’s technicians are all incompetent?
I understand that Obama has a regular weekly party in the White House for swish guests. Wednesday evenings. But the reporters aren’t invited, and apparently aren’t allowed to mention it in the news.
Interesting. Even this reporter for CNN/Time doesn’t complain, exactly, but deadpans this peculiar information brief.
I would assume the address system bypasses the briefing room when the lights are so as not to interrupt briefings.
We need to get video of an 0bama golf whiff to go with the bball air ball.
Give the TOTUS media Sundays off.
If golf was around at the time, Nero would have been golfing instead of fiddling.
Exactly for that reason.
