Your statement assumes facts not established. If anything, this will discourage others from performing partial birth abortions, especially if this guy gets off with a light sentence of say 2-5 years.

I think it is safe to assume that there will be fewer late term abortions now that Tiller is dead.

I doubt it. People will fuss for a while and then they tend to forget it. Tiller the Killer is now Tiller the Killed.
