Please excuse the "vanity", but I wish to offer an idea. The republican party has had to tolerate the infestation of leftists in their primaries. They gave us John McCain last time, if you will recall. In the next election, they are likely to do it again. At any rate, who runs from the rep side doesn't matter much (now). What I suggest is that we all cross over to commit a bit of chaos of our own- vote in the dem primary. I am absolutely sure that THEY are absolutely sure that BO will be their candidate, and he probably WILL be, but we can cause some heartburn of our own if we all vote for the worst candidate on the dem ticket.
This time the chaos could be of OUR making. Just an idea...
Er... we did that last year, didn’t work so well.
What makes you think Zero will let Hill run in that primary?? Or just any candidate that runs against zero? What if Zero is only candidate running?
>>> Er... we did that last year, didnt work so well.
It worked perfectly... even better than expectations.
Rush will tell you that himself.
The objective was to prolong the internal fighting.... not to choose a candidate.
As for orchestrating a tit for tat, it would serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever. Shame on us for allowing it to happen to our side to begin with. I’ll guarantee you that the vulnerability on both sides will now be slammed shut hard. The best way to deal with this is to get out the entire conservative base to vote.
I wouldn't completely diss McCain just yet. He had to have some good qualities otherwise Charlie Crist wouldn't have endorsed him........
There in lies the rub(io).
You could join ACORN.

Please explain beyond "we want to win at all costs".
Do you also think it's OK to steal from little old ladies because you want the money?
"Ends justify the means" people are liberals. You might like DU better.
Right now the battle is to keep Mitt Romney from becoming the next McCain.
Mitt will be trying to kill off our young, successful, conservative Governors over the next couple of years and he will have the help and support of the liberal part of the republican party and columnists.
We now have a one party led by a dick-tater. Like Iraq.
I beg everyone to read Mark Levin’s eye-opening book, Liberty and Tyranny.
Are we going to have an election? I’m not so sure...
I don’t think we can blame democrats for John McCain. If he was getting help from them he would have done better than dead last till the end. John McCain won by hanging in there till the end and gathering delegates from other candidates as they dropped out.
Personally I think it was a preplanned thing among the RINO herd. Last RINO standing got the backing.
Ha ha ha ha. Who?
I’ve done exactly that for years in Massachusetts.
I’m registered as “unenrolled” so I can pick which primary ballot I want. My custom is to take a Dem ballot in the primary and vote against the most likely winner, lending my support to the worst clam on their list.
Then I cast a “real” vote in November.
If nothing else, this subterfuge makes me feel better.
Little acorns can grow into trees. Be careful what you wish for. ;o)
One thing we could do right now that would be very effective is to mislead pollsters. The primary reason politicians are able to trap us is because they know our opinions as well as, in fact many times better than, we do.
To get such good data on how to “frame” their message, they must get campaign donations from those who profit off of manipulating us. That forces the very politicians who should be representing Main Street to go along with whatever Wall Street wants.
Given accurate and insightful polling data they don’t have to be afraid of us. We need to change that.
I’ve thought of posting this idea as a vanity for some time but haven’t. What does everyone think? Should it be conservative’s duty to mislead pollsters?
NO, pollester calls me I hang up the phone. Why should I lie?
