Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

So in your opinion its better to insist on a complete ban and refuse any reductions in abortions until the complete ban is obtained.
Of course a complete ban is thegoal. That is a political goal and you are asking non-christians to accept your christian justification. Until they become christians they will largely refuse. As has occurred for the past 40 years and ~50 million babies.

I'm very much pro-life, and from what I've heard of Tiller, he sounds like he's a real scumbag. That said though, I will never agree with or respect someone who thinks that committing cold blooded murder is the way to advance a political cause, even if it's a cause I believe in such as being pro-life.
As a Christian I wholeheartedly condemn the moron who murdered Tiller and hope his family obtains justice for the loss of their loved one. And I also hope those idiots who have an understanding attitude towards Tiller's murderer get their heads out of their rear ends and think about how this could affect the conservative movement.
Right now we have an administration and congress in Washington that's looking for any excuse to take away every freedom we have and squash our right of dissent. Not only will Obama and the left use this incident to paint all pro-lifers as nut job extremists who need to be monitored and shut down, but since the murderer used a gun, pro Second Amendment folks will be under the same government microscope as the pro-lifers. And if the drive-by media comes out with stories about the murderer being an avid listener of conservative talk radio, Obama and the rats will use this as an opportunity to take over media companies like Clear Channel, as they did with GM and Chrysler, in order to rid the airwaves of those who oppose their socialist agenda like Rush Limbaugh and other conservative hosts.
I believe abortion is the cruelest and most barbaric form of genocide the world has ever known and I would love nothing more than to see it ended immediately. But since I live in the real world and not an idealistic one, I believe the best way to end abortion is to change people's hearts and minds about the issue, and using the political process our founding fathers gave us to change the laws. Killing abortionists will not change any laws or win any hearts and minds in our favor.
Kansans for Life and the NRLC have NEVER gone against the Catholic Bishops.
YOUR SIDE HAS OPPOSED THE BISHOPS, and your arrogance on the matter shows!

We tend to place a lot more importance on what happens in this life than does God. The only thing he cares about is whether we accept Jesus as our savior and work towards the great commission.

And read a language history book sport. English is about the only language that does not have an “academy”. And it has never had any “rules” such as this. It only has conventions, that can be bent to my pleasure if they work well enough to convey my message, as i intended it. A law which says that you may NOT perform abortions under most circumstances does NOT mandate abortions under any circumstance, so your lack of logic shows, once more.
The Catholic Church, and all of her Bishops in America, would have absolutely no problem with a Human Life Amendment which included “rape, incest and life of the mother” exceptions, if no better law had a chance of passage.
They would THEN work for a better law.
You can not find a SINGLE Catholic Bishop who agrees with your take on legislative or political strategy.
