Actor and Christian Stephen Baldwin said he felt God lead him to speak at Trinity Christian Academy’s graduation.
“I just want to convey the importance of following Christ,” he said. “I am blessed for one specific reason.
“I know for sure I am saved and born again and the spirit of the living God dwells within me.”
Baldwin’s spiritual journey started several years ago when his Brazilian housekeeper told him that it was prophesied to her, in Brazil, that she would lead her future American employer to Christ.
Baldwin’s wife became a born-again Christian first and then Baldwin followed his wife’s lead shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
“I just want to communicate to these young people, the only future they, and the only future God, their father, cares about, is No. 1, they love him and No.2, they do their best to represent Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian, a real Christian, then that is what this life should be all about.”
Baldwin said he believes Jesus will be returning to earth soon.
“It is my hope and my prayer that these (graduates) will be overwhelmed and engaged, obsessed and passionate in their desire to be filled with the spirit of Christ,” he said.
“If that is their priority, they have an opportunity to have an experience beyond their wildest dreams.”

I really like Alec Baldwin. Saw him on Turner classic movies interview and he basically said movies now days is crap!. And what parent hasn;t wanted to blast their obnoxious teenager a time or two. Given there are some people who have perfect children. I have to admit mine wasn’t and she knows how to push my buttons.
Granted I know Alec has a bad side
I was horrified by Alec’s tyrade against his daughter - (it was voice mail!) - but I have to admit that he seems likable now and then. And I’m sure his frustration level was high. Anyway, the extreme left views I don’t care for but that’s neither here nor there.
It’s not too late for anybody. With Stephen’s and all of our prayers, he still has hope.
His sister-in-law, Chynna Phillips Baldwin, who is married to Stephen’s brother William, is also born again. Chynna was in the 1990’s group Wilson-Phillips (”Hold On”; “Release Me”) and is the daughter of the late John Phillips and Michelle Phillips of the 1960’s The Mamas & The Papas (”California Dreamin”; “Monday, Monday”).
Chynna has slowed down on show business to be a wife and mother. Considering her origins, becoming a Christian was something no one expected of her. Chynna threatens to Baptize her mother in a bathtub the first chance she gets.
When you put your problems in God’s hands, and stop worrying, they will be solved.
All you can do is to raise kids the best you know how. If they make wrong decisions, they will have to answer for them.
People don’t understand, we all work for God, even satan. satan tempts and ties those that refuse God. He separates the chaff from the wheat, you might say.
Those that accept God’s will receive just rewards. Those that refuse God, will receive their just desserts.
Is Chynna a sister to Mackenzie Phillips?

I know what you mean, raving libs like Alec usually turn my stomach, but something about him keeps me watching SNL each time he’s hosting. He was pretty funny as the Jonas Bro’s older brother, “Gary”.
