Good point me thinks it is the Dems that have all the familiar faces but she is trying to mask that.
She has been around long enough to remember when Cheney was not demonized and was in fact not that hated by the press, she is nervous that people may start to remember those days and start listening to him. She therefore has to say in a round about fashion that he may actually have a point.

How about this, Estrich—to start with, we can be sure we will fight against the terrorists, not give them assistance.
Ms. Estrich, if you have the least inkling to assign even a minimum value to your own reasoning ability, please take note that Cheney is an excellent conservative spokesman because he emphasizes principles. That is, principles over personalities.
Careful Ms. Estrich—if you are sufficiently able to conceptualize this notion, you will find yourself with no logical choice but to become a conservative.

I have to give Susan credit for being hilarious. I recall her sitting in for Alan, a few times, on Hannity and Colmes, i swear she was half drunk, loud, and totally out of control. it was unbelievably funny!!
