We were on a job, a big remodel of a restaurant owner's home, many subs coming and going.

Cabinet guy backs his jeep up into the garage and starts his compressor, runs the hose to the kitchen and starts thwacking in his cabinets--

--with his Rush radio full blast on a cabinet.

Rush is blasting out "taxes, and more taxes, because it's all liberals know how to do"--

This is maybe ninety-one--

The cabinet guy gets hotter and hotter, he listens to Rush on taxes and liberals and is reeeeally getting pissed.

Thwack! Thwack-thwack! Thwack-thwack-thwack!

So he gets his cabinets in and coils his hose--

But he's nailed his cabinet onto his hose.

I began to wonder--is this why my older, wiser brother sent me those two books by Rush he'd read?

Convinced Rush will get us through times of no money better than money would get us through times of no Rush--

Now we've just got to spread the truth about Dictator's Date Night Out While the Peons Wait for the Ax to Fall.

You got to remember that the 20 million number is a snap shot from a particular period of testing. Listeners listen on and off so that some days there may be considerably more than 20 million and some days less. Also are they counting radios tuned to Rush? If they are only counting radios tuned to Rush then they may be massively undercounting listeners!

Our country didn’t do so badly by allowing non land owners to vote. The other points you mention however may have true legitimate evidence to support them.

The Democrats have crafted their messages to tug at a woman’s heart strings while puffing up a woman’s angry pride at being dominated by “evil white men and Chrisitan patrimonialists”(stated with a harumphing angry female exclamation point(!!!!!) )! Such women have put our nation in Jeopardy because despite the evidence of what this administration is, they’ll cling blindly to “hope” as their nesting instincts have been engaged by the Dem’s! They’ll only begin to change their viewpoints when they have to deal with angry husbands and sweet hearts who are laying about the house having lost their jobs over this administration’s mistakes!

There should be some type of basic literacy tests, which is not a popular idea. Yet, a free society rests upon the education of the population.

I just read your article "A Tale of Two Project Experiences: Sotomayor, Latina Liberal. Lloyd Marcus, Black Conservative". Great perspective and there's a lot I can relate to. I worked to pay my way through college during the worst economic environment in Michigan (early 80's - 20% unemployment in the region). And that was the easy part of my life!

Life is a series of circumstances and decisions regarding how you handle the circumstances. Decisions are influenced by attitude - positive or negative. Anyone can understand their current situation in life by working backward through their series of decisions and their attitude or outlook at the time.

One of the creeds of my son's Karate is "Winners never quit, and quitters never win. I choose to be a winner.". Simple. Powerful.
