There isn’t one show on NBC Primetime that would pull in higher ratings than the Cup.

Hockey fans may wish this were so, but the sport is not that popular.

Look here. Click

NBC's best NHL game hasn't gotten more than 3 million people.

Still better than any show on NBC. :)

Hockey is the fastest game on ice - according to an old friend who was not a fan.

Go Pens! My neph and Mark Andre F.. He's cut the fro since then, but we're a Penguins family. The Pens can handle back-to-back games.

Why are they shopping for pink lingerie?

Hahaha. That’s actually from a local broadcast of a Penguins show. I don’t know where it was held, but I’m really sure it’s not lingerie. Neph did get an autographed jersey. No pink panties, thank God. :) And Mark is a very nice guy too.

Contrast this with the television coverage of the Stanley Cup finals in Canada. When I lived in Calgary, I had the option of watching the Stanley Cup finals on any one of FOUR different television stations: CBC English, CBC French, the local Calgary station, and the U.S. coverage via the ABC affiliate out of Spokane, Washington.

It doesn't get any better than that, folks.
