How would any of you Savage sycophants like being called a hemorrhoid with ears?
Well, there is the other guy who yells "get off the phone you big dope!"
And the Wall-banger who is so un-original that he borrows that line, "get off the phone you big dope!", and even uses the vocal of the originator.
All of them should be taken in small doses.

At its root, talk shows are a type of entertainment. Entertainers have borrowed from each other for a very long time. Hannity is not the only one who borrows from his predecessors. Bob Grant, whom Hannity imitates, was himself strongly influenced by Joe Pyne. You can tell that Limbaugh's style was influenced by William F. Buckley. Savage's rants have a strong resemblance to those of the television announcer in the 1970s movie, Network. This type of borrowings go far beyond conservative talk. A lot of Garrison Keillor's and Bill Cosby's work shows the influence of Jean Shepherd. How many Star Trek and James Bond movies have there been? How many times has Hollywood or its British counterparts made movies based on Little Women or A Christmas Story?
