When Petraeus, Gates, Pace, Mullan and a score of other high ranking and responsible military people say that it's a detriment, I pay attention. When they are joined by five Secretaries of State including three from Republican Administrations, it's pretty much a forgone conclusion.

I could give a crap about any secretary of state. They're diplomats who deal in seudo-speak and have no relation to reality, but I'd still be curious where they said Gitmo "was getting our guys killed."
