Diaz, 45, a Cuban-American, was a member of the Obama campaign's Catholic advisory board. Diaz was among 26 Catholics who signed a statement supporting the nomination of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius...

A Hispanic Roman Catholic theologian who advised Barack Obama's presidential campaign...who signed a statement supporting the nomination of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius... So, in other words, he's not Catholic.
I wonder what kind of "theologian" BXVI thinks he is.

I’m surprised he didn’t pick a muslim, for diversity’s sake...

No mention on whether this theologian holds a mandatum.

Diaz was among 26 Catholics who signed a statement supporting the nomination of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius...70 million Catholic Americans - they found 26 who support her.

Interesting. If anonymous sources are to be believed, Obama chose three other candidates for this post, but they were turned down by the Vatican because they were pro-abortion.
None of those candidates were publicly announced, suggesting that someone spoke to the Vatican first before making a formal nomination.
So, has the Vatican quietly agreed to this one, or is Obama taking a different route and going through with a public nomination before the Vatican has a chance to respond?
I guess we’ll see. I really, really hope the Vatican stands fast on this. There is absolutely no reason why Obama needs an abortion lover in this post.

A stinking CINO apostate heretic punk.
Why am I not surprised.
Am I just oversensitive or does Obummer have a special hatred for the Catholic Church and a burning desire to shame and destroy it?

Dias: "...to moving beyond the politics of fear to the politics of hope." He said Obama was "committed to working" with people who defend "life in the womb" and deeply respects people who hold positions he does not agree with.

I suspect that the Obama administration is trying to “publicly” anoint (er, appoint) THEIR (pro-abortion) choice for an ambassador, then “dare” the Vatican to oppose that choice.
Notice that no (pro-Muslim) Obama ambassadors were opposed by any Muslim countries ....

A Hispanic Roman Catholic theologianNotice that "hispanic" comes before Roman Catholic.
Another "identity politics" nomination. Most of this guys writings focus on being a "hispanic" catholic and he writes extensively about "hispanic" theology (whatever the hell that is).
Here's hoping the Vatican tells Obama to take this nominee and shove it.
