Interesting the Washington Post ran this story today in the print edition but took it down off its website. WWAGD!

That show sounds like it’s bordering on being a hate crime.

I find Mike Judge productions to be not bad, but not funny either. If King of the Hill had been a drama, there’d have been a reason to watch it. As it was, I can find more satisfying material not to laugh at.

Should be a funny show, but it’s typical of Judge to temper his criticism of liberalism by getting in some barbs at Christians. Calling the abstinence group “creepy” and saying they marry their fathers is absurd.

I thought it was pretty funny when Grampa stole Gen. Santana’s wooden leg.

This one? Or did they also run the Miami Herald article? (I'd think it'd be odd for them to put the Herald article on their web site, even if they put it in their print editions.)
To: La Lydia
Don’t think I’ll be wasting my time to watch it.

When I looked for it, I couldn’t find it on the website, so I grabbed the one in the Miami Herald. It is the same article. My search skills must be rusty, because I kept getting a different article on the same show.

Yeah man, I tell ya what, man. That dang ol’ King of the Hill, man. You just go there and change the channel. You got NBCABCCBSFOX. Need a dang remote.

Loved B&B and think KOTH was poignant along the lines of The Wonder Years. But I believe this will nauseate with soft PC. The Goodes will be good and well intentioned.. in the end doing the right things ecologically - just doing them silly and learning a lesson along the way. I content that Bobby is the KOTH referred to in the series title. Oh yeah!

I think this show has real potential. It is like Mike Judge has read my mind, and realizes I laugh at these Al Gore morons with bumper sticker laden hybrids, and produced a show just for my enjoyment.
