McCain campaign 2008 did not take money from Soros.

You're not dealing with ignoramuses here. When most of the political world was writing off McCain because his campaign was broke, his real political operations didn't miss a beat, because his top political operatives were drawing salaries and resources from the "nonprofit" Reform Institute, which as I've already proven on this thread, was being funded by Soros.

Here's some of his other Leftwing pro-abort funders:

* The Tides Foundation, which heavily promotes “reproductive justice”, giving over $500,000 to pro-abortion efforts. They also actively oppose the death penalty (so do I, FYI). John McCain opposes abortion and supports the death penalty, so why is his chief political advisor getting so much support from those who ostensibly oppose him?

* Educational Foundation Of America, which also supports abortion. EFA also opposes drilling in ANWR, an issue on which McCain has an ambivalent record. It also supports euthanasia and assisted suicide through the Death With Dignity National Center, a group which it gave $45,000. It gave $100,000 to the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability, which opposed the Yucca Mountain nuclear depository (McCain supported it), and opposes development of low-yield nuclear “bunker buster” bombs, which McCain supports.

In fact, EFA appears to contribute to just about every left-wing cause imaginable, as well as a number of noncontriversial charities and outreach efforts.

* The Proteus Fund, which also opposed the Yucca Mountain repository, spending $75K to stop it. That pales in comparison to the $935K they spent on supporting gay marriage initiatives, which McCain strongly opposes. They have also spent over $800,000 funding nuclear-disarmament and antiwar causes in each of the last two years. Their Security Policy Working Group contains nothing but left-of-center groups like Project on Defense Alternatives, which calls the Iraqi elections “faulty” and predicted disaster for the Bush administration’s “program of coercive transformation throughout the region.”

* OSI (Open Society Institute), founded and funded by George Soros. Among a litany of left-wing causes supported by OSI are People For The American Way, to support their Supreme Court Project. (Hint: It isn’t intended on assisting Bush get his nominees confirmed.) They also gave $150,000 to the Campaign Legal Center, which will be important shortly.

* David Geffen Foundation also shows up on the list, although not in the top tier. David Geffen is an entertainment-industry mogul who supports Democrats and left-wing causes. They do not have a website I could find, but Activistcash.com notes that in 2002, most of the grants Geffen gave went to environmental activists and the Tides Foundation and Tides Center.

Opinions are a dime a dozen, everyone has one. That isn't a bad thing unless or until an opinion is stated as fact, over and over and reputations are damaged.

John McCain campaign 2008 did not receive Soros money.

Your support for the now president leaves you in the same black hole I find myself and the rest of this country. Being led by a Marxist with the intention of making the USA a third world country.

That's a fact Jack.

You, with all your high mindedness will suffer as we all will in the long days ahead.

My choices in 2008......McCain-Palin - obama-biden.

I will never vote third party. Perot still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Perot was a spoiler and gave us clinton/Clinton.

Perot was a liberal pro-abort. His wife was on the board of Planned Parenthood. Wake up.

Or maybe I should say, open your eyes.

No, but his top political operatives, and the "nonprofit" organization he founded, DID. The man who claimed to want to "clean up" campaign finance by robbing us of our First Amendment rights to free political speech gamed the system to the max to mask what he was really doing...which was, in part, take money from a bunch of socialist, pro-baby-killing enemies of our republic, including George Soros.

Why are you lying for John Judas McCain? Most Republicans have given up on that thankless, unprincipled mission.

It is no lie to state McCain campaign accepted no Soros money.

Most Republicans have given up on that thankless, unprincipled mission.

Your reach is so extended you know most Republicans and can speak for them?

Forty six percent of 2008 voters voted McCain-Palin. They probably were not all Republicans, but citizens, putting love of country first.

Anyone paying attention knew obama was unfit to be president. Now there is no way to stop the total destruction of our country. The Marxist won, you helped him win by not voting against him.

You can scream, rant ,rave, call me a liar , that changes nothing. John McCain is no Marxist. Not perfect for sure, but he is an American, has presented a BC as proof. Has your man obama done that? No.

That's only true if your only reality is the phony campaign scam rules devised by McCain and his minions for their own benefit.

Real reality though, is that Soros and other anti-American, pro-baby-killing Leftists kept McCain and his campaign team alive financially and politically while the whole world was standing around saying, "McCain has no chance. He has no money."

So, in closing: while your statement may on its surface appear to be true, in fact it is what is known as a BIG LIE.

No. All I have to do is simply observe. McCain defenders are scarcer now than Bill Clinton's chastity. Those craven individuals who were willing to sell their souls to do so for their own political advantage in the last election simply have no further motivation to defend the traitor.

I did vote against him. I just didn't vote for your fake Republican traitor.

You have no choice but to bear the whole burden of your failure either, in truth. If every single "third-party" vote in the country, including the liberal ones, were gathered up and given to McCain, he still would have lost by a large margin. That's a fact.

I have a copy of his birth certificate. He was born in the Republic of Panama. So even this red herring of yours is questionable.

Has your man obama done that? No.

Your ignorance is showing. If you actually knew me you would know that I've been at the center of the political fight against Obama, including the attempt to make him show his true birth certificate, all along.

...you’re the only one I’m aware of who has expressed what you’ve expressed about Dr. Keyes’ piece.

Perhaps I'm the only one who has expressed it to you.

As for the rest of your comments regarding my "disrespect" for your world view, I made no comment whatsoever regarding your world view or Alan's world view. That was all in your mind.

That said, the article at issue contained opinions on how Jews think, or feel or believe. And in some cases, those opinions are insulting, denigrating, and flat out anti-Jewish.

Whoever wrote that piece is not Jewish, and has no clue how Jewish people think, or feel and has no understanding of what it is that Jewish people do believe, and what he does understand, it's obvious he doesn't think much of it.

That has nothing to do with supporting Israel.

At no time did I say that you did not support Israel, nor did I say that Alan did not support Israel. That also was all in your mind.
