America's Independent Party Pushes Patriotism, Love of Israel
Arutz Sheva ^ | May 25, 2009 | Malkah Fleisher and Tamar Yonah

(IsraelNN.com) 'Tea parties', tax revolts, and a general disillusionment with political parties which they say are based in socialism are leading some Americans to find political refuge in a party which claims dedication to America's traditional moral values.

The AIP, America's Independent Party, says it is a haven for the American patriot, and is determined to maintain what it sees as Biblically-based principles, including support for the State of Israel. It claims to already be the third largest political party in the United States.

Tom Kovach, Tennessee state party chairman and National Outreach Communication Director of AIP, told Israel National Radio's Tamar Yonah on The Tamar Yonah Show that his party wants to return America to its citizens, making it once again "a government of the people and by the people."

Dr. Alan Keyes, noted conservative activist, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and pro-Israel advocate was AIP's presidential candidate in 2008, and recently discussed his views on the 'two-state solution' on The Tamar Yonah Show.

Audio: Is Obama an Obamination?

Former Ambassador, Dr. Alan Keyes, from America's Independent Party, talks to Tamar about how U.S. President Obama is destroying America with his domestic policy, and destroying Israel with his foreign policy. Is there a 2 state solution? Dr. Keyes says that there already is, and that the second state is Jordan. This is the state, he says, where Arabs in Israel should flock to for a better life.

we need to find a way to unite all those tiny conservative parties into one. Falcon Party?

Then they might scare the GOP into doing the right thing

God’s command for us to bless Israel is not dependent on whether or not they bless us back. The promise of blessings or curses contained therein is backed up by God Himself, not by Israel.

I like the ideas of this party. If I thought a third party could make a difference, I'd jump to it and vote for its ticket every time. However, new political parties don't want to do the dirty work of running for local elections like City council, County commissioner, or even State Representative. Folks like Constitution Party, Libertarians, and this party just want to run national elections.

For a new party to work, you need the combination of Precinct level workers willing to put in the hard work needed to build a foundation, and the star power of national figures to jump ship from the GOP and bring a face to the party.

Hopefully, some new party can rise up and let the GOP go the way of the Whigs.

Didn’t Jordan kick the Palis out years ago for stirring up trouble there?

Sorry no loser third parties for me..

Does that mean you're leaving the GOP soon? They're really working in that direction.

By the way, that little line still going UP? That's Independents...

We've made it painless and cost-free for you, if you believe in our principles...which are America's principles.

Our Personal Affiliation Agreement is made without regard to your voter registration status, and we endorse candidates based on proven adherence to principle, not mere party label.

Show me a viable candidate who has no “tin foil” in his/her past or platform and I will seriously consider them. Until then, a party with no leadership is only a peer group.

Great. Now we have a new party whose entire political platform us built around what is good or bad for the state Israel...just to make sure it is around to usher in the second coming of Jesus.

You know, so all those jooz can convert to Christianity.

Sorry, but no thanks.

Virtually our entire leadership class has failed. You’re making a big mistake in looking to the very people who have led us to that failure to solve the problems they themselves have created.

If the country is going to be saved it’s going to be done primarily by people nobody has heard of YET. People who are smart enough to first go back to first principles and then build on them.

There are already about 49 "third parties", as far as making a difference, how many of us here would give our left arm to see a liberal third party become so successful that they could consistently pull 3or4%, or even 1% of the votes of the Democrat party in elections, that would be sweet.

The left already has the most successful third party, it pulled in .56% of the vote against Obama (Ralph Nader was their candidate), I would love to see that party continue to grow and blossom.
