Federal prosecutors on Wednesday declined to file corruption charges against a former California lawmaker, clearing the way for his campaign for Oakland mayor next year.

“Cleared”? A prosecutor choosing not to charge doesn’t exactly “clear” the subject of the investigation.
It ends with a .. nothing..
I doubt the Grand Jury and a few in the FBI would agree with this decision.. It smells.
It ends with... disappointment... by all of those wanting justice and honest government.

Meanwhile, Tom DeLay hasn't seen trial yet, the prosecutor has walked away from the show trial, and the charges have not been dropped.
