Federal prosecutors released a statement saying only that they were declining to file criminal charges but did not say why. They said they could not "disclose our deliberative process." Rats are in charge of the gub'mint now.
Meanwhile, Tom DeLay hasn't seen trial yet, the prosecutor has walked away from the show trial, and the charges have not been dropped.
